Job Summary

Own the strategy, design, and execution of Baseten’s first-generation GPU data centers. Lead power distribution, cooling, rack design, and structured cabling/low-voltage systems within leased powered shells, setting standards to scale from tens to hundreds of megawatts. Partner with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to bring capacity online quickly and reliably, including commissioning, failover testing, thermal validation, and maintenance program development.

•Define electrical, mechanical, and physical network infrastructure architecture.

•Own commissioning, failover testing, and thermal validation.
•Manage A/E firms, GCs, vendors, and low-voltage contractors; establish maintenance programs, runbooks, as-builts, and deployment standards; build and lead data center engineering and operations functions.
