Key Responsibilities

  • •Guide and manage relationships with data stewards across business domains, ensuring ownership and governance expectations are clear.
  • •Create, refine, and approve data definitions, KPIs, data quality rules, and domain boundaries; resolve stewardship gaps and conflicts.
  • •Oversee governance priorities and frameworks, translate standards into actionable guidance, and lead data governance onboarding.
  • •Oversee updates to the data glossary, metadata fields, naming conventions, and business definitions in governance tools; ensure consistency with enterprise standards.
  • •Partner with the data platform team to maintain catalog entries, lineage views, and metadata documentation based on steward input; prioritize and route governance requests.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years applying data science techniques to solve business problems.
  • •Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and stewardship models.
  • •Experience facilitating cross-functional discussions on definitions, standards, ownership, and data quality.
  • •Strong understanding of statistical concepts, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
  • •Proficiency in data wrangling and manipulation tools, e.g., SQL and Python. Bilingual (French-English).
