Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform daily operation and upkeep of the Water Treatment Department, including inspections, equipment monitoring, and preventative maintenance.
  • •Monitor water/waste treatment control systems and recording devices; conduct lab testing of effluent for process control and discharge limits.
  • •Assist with adjusting water treatment effluent process control and perform operational maintenance of plant water sofeners.
  • •Handle by-product trailer loading/moving and serve as daily point of contact for deliveries and pick-ups, including bill of lading and security seals.
  • •Complete daily records and paperwork, keep areas clean and organized, and report mechanical/process breakages to Maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •1-2 years’ experience in operations and maintenance of water treatment plants with ancillary/auxiliary equipment and distribution systems.
  • •Must possess or obtain within 12 months a Water Treatment Operator Certification.
  • •Able to read, write, and comprehend English to communicate effectively.
  • •Knowledge of maintenance and water treatment terminology to communicate with technical personnel.
  • •Valid driver’s license and experience driving a tractor/trailer or yard truck preferred.
