Job Summary

Maintain, repair, and install HVAC/R equipment and DDC control systems onsite in Woburn, MA. Read wiring diagrams and operating manuals to troubleshoot malfunctions, perform daily inspections, adjust oil/gas burners, maintain compressors and pumps, and support facility climate control and manufacturing process needs. Work from engineering drawings, follow safety procedures, keep records and a clean work area, and use HVAC/R trade tools and testing equipment. Eligible for a sign-on bonus.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot HVAC/R equipment including piping, rooftop units, chillers, pumps, motors, compressors, valves, split systems, cooling towers, and humidity controls.
•Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and initiate follow-up actions as required.
•Maintain, repair, and/or replace HVAC controls including DDC and pneumatic systems; support the site EMS.
•Adjust and maintain oil/gas burners, clean boiler combustion chambers and flues, and perform daily inspections and repairs.
•Calculate heating/cooling load and head load data, perform daily housekeeping, maintain records, retrieve materials, and follow safety rules.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma (or GED/HiSET) or two years of trade school experience.
•Current Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician's license.
