Lead a team of machinists to set up and operate CNC machine tools in the machine shop, ensuring components are completed accurately and on time. Manage the machining cell day-to-day, act as first point of contact for quality, productivity, and machine availability, and drive OEE improvements. Maintain technical standards, CNC programme capability, and product quality through inspection and use of measuring equipment, while supporting training and safe working practices.

•Lead the machining cell and provide day-to-day guidance to the team while liaising with production supervisors.
•Serve as the first point of contact for machine shop issues including quality, productivity, and machine availability.
•Drive OEE and take action against poor-performing machinery and processes.
•Support training of new employees on the machining process, including safety, for safe and efficient operation.
•Maintain technical standards and ensure quality and accuracy via checks and inspection equipment, including producing and improving CNC programmes as required.
