Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain detailed mechanical cost estimates for all phases of design and construction.
  • •Perform quantity takeoffs for HVAC, piping/plumbing, process mechanical systems, cleanroom systems, and associated infrastructure.
  • •Review drawings, specifications, vendor packages, and contractor proposals to verify scope completeness and pricing accuracy.
  • •Manage cost planning, forecasting, and reporting across the project lifecycle, including budgets, commitments, and expenditures.
  • •Review and negotiate change orders, claims, and cost proposals; identify cost risks and opportunities and support value engineering/constructability reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
  • •7+ years of experience in mechanical estimating, cost management, quantity surveying, or commercial management on large-scale construction projects.
  • •Experience supporting highly technical capital projects such as semiconductor, advanced technology, data center, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or industrial manufacturing.
  • •Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, process piping, cleanroom systems, and central utility plant/mechanical infrastructure.
  • •Proficiency preparing detailed quantity takeoffs and conceptual-to-construction-stage estimates; experience reviewing bids, change orders, and claims.
