Key Responsibilities

  • •Collect, compile, and analyze data from physical work sites, surveys, blueprints, and geotechnical sources for project development, design, and construction.
  • •Perform structural engineering work and conduct research and observations to determine conformance with applicable codes and standards.
  • •Develop structural construction drawings, calculation packages, and specifications for proposed and existing site conditions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or closely related discipline), with a preferred Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering.
  • •5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience in structural design, detailing, renovation, and/or seismic strengthening across steel, concrete, masonry, and wood/mass timber buildings.
  • •Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification.
  • •Strong lateral force-resisting system design and detailing experience, with familiarity with the International Building Code.
  • •Experience with rehabilitation and new design projects, including structural code and compliance knowledge and the ability to perform technical calculations and observations.
