Job Summary

Join the hosting team serving InterSystems’ Latin America customers by designing, deploying, and operating highly available infrastructure. You’ll work with co-location partners and engineering teams to provision servers, networks, and hosting equipment, implement ITIL-based operational processes, and manage monitoring, metrics, backups, and security scanning. The role also includes 24x7 on-call support and automation of hosting-related workflows using cloud, virtualization, and infrastructure tooling.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and coordinate colocation cage, rack, and server layouts, ensuring space, power, and cooling for hosted solutions.
•Lead and/or participate in provisioning and deployment of server, network, and hosting equipment, including hands-on build and configuration.
•Provide hands-on administration and maintenance of hosted infrastructure (firewalls, switches, servers), including incident identification and backup management.
•Define, document, and continuously improve ITIL-based operational processes; implement metrics, monitoring, alerting, and service level reporting for highly available services.
•Support hosted services via 24x7 on-call, troubleshoot integration issues, automate hosting processes (deployments, inventory, security scanning), and consult with technical stakeholders including customers.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience as an Infrastructure/Senior Infrastructure Engineer or equivalent.
•Strong hands-on server hosting (data center) infrastructure experience.
•Hands-on AWS and/or GCP experience, with hyperscaler certifications as a plus.
•Hands-on networking/firewall solutions, preferably Cisco (Routing, ASA, FTD), plus knowledge of Load Balancing/DNS global load balancing.
•Linux (RHEL 8.x+) administration and infrastructure automation skills (e.g., Ansible, Bash, Python, PowerShell, Puppet) and ITIL knowledge.
