Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical support to identify high-quality exploration targets using geoscientific knowledge.
  • •Contribute to target generation by analyzing regional datasets, integrating data, and conducting field reconnaissance and fieldwork as required.
  • •Create and execute exploration work programmes to safely and efficiently test priority exploration targets.
  • •Partner with project resources and service providers (e.g., geophysics, drilling) within the area of responsibility.
  • •Compile and analyze concise exploration reports and recommendations, and maintain value-adding collaboration across technical and operational teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s in Geology, Geoscience, or a related discipline.
  • •3–6 years of field experience working in early-stage exploration, progressing targets through drill testing and beyond.
  • •Experience in Angolan geology and copper would be beneficial.
  • •Proficiency in ArcGIS, acQuire, ioGas, or Leapfrog is highly regarded.
  • •Fluency in Portuguese is required; English is desirable, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
