Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant electrical systems and components including breakers, switch gear, motor control centers, transformers, lighting panels, and related equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot electrical faults, read and interpret diagrams/protection schemes/P&IDs, and restore equipment safely.
  • •Test and calibrate protective relays, meters, and monitoring equipment.
  • •Document maintenance activities, test results, and equipment conditions in CMMS (Maximo and SAP preferred).
  • •Support outage activities, participate in Lock-Out-Tag-Out program development/administration, and adhere to safety procedures while on a rotating call-out schedule.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or GED; completion of trade school, military service training, or tech training preferred.
  • •Prior electrical experience required; heavy industrial electrical experience preferred.
  • •Preferred Texas journeyman electrical license.
  • •Ability to read prints/schematics and interpret online diagrams, electrical protection schemes, P&IDs, and vendor manuals.
  • •Working knowledge of CMMS; experience with Maximo and familiarity with SAP preferred; ability to work safely per safety and environment rules for electrical maintenance.
