Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and on time over required routes while obeying all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas, following loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading and unloading using specialized equipment as needed, and return equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain required delivery paperwork (invoices and shipping documents) and perform routine service checks; report maintenance issues to the Shipping Supervisor.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) appropriate for the vehicle operated.
  • •Must pass DOT physical and required background and drug testing per federal/state transportation regulations.
  • •Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with professional communication with customers and staff at delivery points.
  • •Able to lift and move up to 40 pounds and handle prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab.
