Job Summary

Lead and deliver UK highways design projects from India, guiding a multi-disciplinary team in the GCC Highways discipline. Drive high-quality delivery, manage project scope and budgets, liaise with UK stakeholders, and mentor engineers while applying UK standards and cutting-edge design tools to support large infrastructure programmes.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the end-to-end delivery of UK highway design projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
•Manage multiple projects simultaneously with efficient resource allocation and performance reporting.
•Liaise with UK stakeholders, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to maintain strong relationships and drive project outcomes.
•Provide technical guidance and supervision to a team of engineers and designers, fostering professional development.
•Ensure compliance with QA, CDM, Sustainability, and HSE standards, and actively participate in recruitment and capability building within the Roads team.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5+ years of experience in UK highway design, including road geometry, pavement design, road restraint systems, signage and road markings, site clearance.
•Proficiency in design tools: Civil 3D, OpenRoads, MX, PDS/Keyline, AutoCAD, ProjectWise.
•Experience in team leadership and stakeholder management, project and resource management, delivering projects within budget and programme constraints.
•Ability to produce technical reports, specifications, and design documentation.
•Strong understanding of UK design standards and emerging industry trends; excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
