Job Summary

Lead the delivery of arboricultural services across a portfolio of UK projects, ensuring high-quality technical outputs and exceptional client service. Run BS5837 surveys and reporting, prepare AIA, AMS, and Tree Protection Plans, manage survey logistics and quality assurance, and provide practical advice to design teams. Support major NSIP work, mentor junior consultants, and contribute to proposals, tenders, and trusted stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead delivery of arboricultural services across a portfolio, ensuring high-quality technical outputs, project management, and client service.
•Deliver BS5837 surveys and reporting, and prepare Arboricultural Impact Assessments, Arboricultural Method Statements, Tree Protection Plans, and technical reports.
•Manage survey logistics, programming, resourcing, and quality assurance across project workstreams.
•Provide practical arboricultural advice to design teams to support tree retention, mitigation strategies, and construction feasibility.
•Mentor apprentices, assistants, and consultants through technical review and coaching, and contribute to proposals, tenders, and fee estimates.

Key Requirements

•Significant experience within arboricultural consultancy.
•Proven experience delivering BS5837 surveys and reports.
•A Level 3 Arboriculture qualification or higher.

•Experience supporting, mentoring, or reviewing junior colleagues, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
