Job Summary

Underwrite new and renewal liability insurance accounts in Copenhagen, taking ownership of decisions within delegated authority. Key Responsibilities

•Underwrite new and renewal accounts within delegated authority, supporting new business acquisition and client retention in line with the Underwriting Strategy.
•Prepare underwriting information (including client/market research and claims data) and assist in pricing risks using global tools.
•Ensure underwriting compliance with the LoB governance framework, including Underwriting Authorities, global MSU, and Underwriting Guidelines, supporting contract certainty and FAC Reinsurance binding.
•Establish and maintain complete policy files for each risk, ensuring accurate documentation is issued and supporting International Insurance Program administration.
•Manage premium booking and credit control processes and collaborate with Operations to resolve outstanding accounts queries.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: DKK 367,000 - 489,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Assess risk exposures and natural hazards relevant to the Line of Business with foundational underwriting risk understanding.
•Apply analytical pricing skills to evaluate performance against benchmarks and understand market dynamics, business needs, and customer requirements.
•Have experience in contract drafting and interpretation, with the ability to develop consistent, robust policy wordings.
•Demonstrate a solid understanding of the policy administration lifecycle, including information collection, policy issuance, premium booking, credit control, and cancellation processes.
•Communicate effectively in writing and presentations, and influence/motivate others without direct authority (Danish fluency required; English working knowledge).
