Job Function: Transportation & Fleet Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and timely over required routes, obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading goods and materials, including handling skids and returning equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain delivery documentation (invoices and bills of lading) and perform basic truck checks such as oil, water, gasoline, and air.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or a chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle’s weight.
  • •Pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state transportation regulations.
  • •Pass a DOT physical for trucks driven over 10k lbs.
  • •Be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Maintain safe driving and work performance in a busy environment while assisting with loading and unloading.
