Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the supervisor in coordinating daily department responsibilities and ensuring instructions are carried out correctly.
  • •Monitor equipment to ensure proper operation and notify the supervisor of needed maintenance.
  • •Assist with day-to-day debone operations, including monitoring shoulder cuts and mechanical issues with debones and meat supply.
  • •Set up the department area and help ensure USDA, production, and HACCP requirements are met.
  • •Relieve line personnel as needed, fill in for absenteeism, perform wash down at breaks, and maintain general housekeeping; fill in for the supervisor during absence.
