Key Responsibilities

  • •Build a continuously refreshed view of European power-market fundamentals and quantify impacts of regulatory changes on revenues.
  • •Develop and maintain internal renewables market intelligence and modelling capabilities to reduce reliance on external advisors.
  • •Perform renewable auction and revenue-stack modelling across wind, solar, BESS and hybrid assets, including merchant and contracted structures.
  • •Assess route-to-market and asset monetisation options (e.g., CfDs, corporate/utility PPAs, tolling, floors, revenue share, capacity contracts, ancillary services) and produce recommendations for offtake strategy and risk allocation.
  • •Support competitive bidding and M&A work by analysing bid sensitivities, building project/competitor datasets, interpreting third-party revenue curves, and preparing investment papers and reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, data science, computer science, or a related analytical discipline.
  • •At least 5 years of experience in power markets, renewables, BESS, utilities, trading, investment, asset management, or energy advisory.
  • •Hands-on experience with commercial modelling, market analysis, revenue forecasting and investment support for renewables and/or flexibility assets.
  • •Exposure to European power markets and route-to-market structures, including offshore wind, BESS, PPAs, CfDs, auctions, or capacity markets.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant QHSE software (e.g., environmental management systems software).
