Job Summary

Design, build, and operate RAG-based conversational knowledge agents end-to-end—from query understanding and planning to tool routing, retrieval, response generation, and quality control. Implement grounding, answer verification, guardrails, fallback, and hallucination defenses, and improve faithfulness/relevancy via eval harnesses, regression tests, and A/B experiments. Build production backend foundations (API contracts, caching, prompt registry, admin APIs) and analyze logs/metrics to reduce latency and failure cases.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and evolve RAG-based agent flows, covering query understanding, planning, tool routing, retrieval, and response generation.
•Optimize multi-turn conversation understanding and its integration with retrieval.
•Implement response quality control (grounding, answer verification, guardrails, fallback) to defend against hallucinations.
•Build and operate evaluation, regression testing, and A/B experimentation to improve faithfulness and relevancy.
•Create production backend foundations (API contracts, cache, config/prompt registry, admin APIs) and improve via log/metric analysis of latency and failures.

Key Requirements

•7+ years designing, developing, and operating backend/AI services.
•Strong Python skills (Java/Kotlin experience is a plus).
•Experience designing and running production API/backend services handling traffic.
•Production experience building, serving, and operating RAG and/or LLM applications/LLM agents.
•Ability to diagnose and improve response/search quality issues using logs and metrics.
