Key Responsibilities

  • •Model and produce drawings in structural discipline using Autodesk Revit (Buildings) or Bentley OpenBuildings, with the ability to create structural content writing.
  • •Act as BIM Lead Verifier to author and ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plan and BIM standards, including gatekeeping all incoming and outgoing model and drawing information.
  • •Proactively check and coordinate project BIM models and deliverables to meet client requirements, industry standards, and the project BIM Execution Plan.
  • •Independently QA/QC the completeness and accuracy of team work and manage submissions with proper QA/QC protocols, including spatial coordination.
  • •Initiate and manage projects in BIM360 and coordinate using Navisworks and other coordination software while guiding junior staff and keeping software/techniques up to date.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to perform the full range of BIM modelling, verification, coordination, and documentation duties with limited supervision.
  • •Advanced knowledge of design processes and interfaces between disciplines, plus expert understanding of industry BIM standards, processes, and approaches.
  • •Minimum 12 years’ experience drawing/modeling concrete and steel structures, and at least 7 years’ relevant Revit modelling experience.
  • •Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk BIM 360, and Navisworks, including developing BIM content based on BIM standards and BEP.
  • •Strong computational skills (Dynamo/Grasshopper/Python) and excellent communication, planning, and organizational abilities.
