Key Responsibilities

  • •Support development of the annual Global Payments audit plan aligned with key risks and regulatory requirements.
  • •Identify risks and regulatory requirements for inclusion in audit scope and work programs.
  • •Execute a portfolio of regulatory and operational audits, including AML/CTF, PSD2, and safeguarding.
  • •Develop risk and control matrices and internal audit test plans.
  • •Conduct follow-up reviews of audit recommendations to assess adequacy and timeliness of corrective actions.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Good knowledge of IIA Standards and extensive audit experience, ideally in-house, supporting global payments businesses, fintechs, or large technology platforms.
  • •Strong understanding of the payments and financial services sector, including relevant licensing and compliance requirements across UK and European regulatory regimes.
  • •Ability to assess compliance with regulatory, operational, and financial controls and analyze large data sets.
  • •Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, CISA, CPA, CFA, IRM, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • •Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills, confident presenting findings and remediation actions to senior stakeholders.
