Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end delivery of Capex projects, following the Capex Project Delivery Framework including business case development, planning, governance, and URS/FDS documentation.
  • •Develop business cases for capital investment proposals, including ROI, payback, risk assessments, and quantified benefits aligned with group priorities.
  • •Manage CapEx execution on time and within budget while meeting safety and quality standards using project governance tools.
  • •Specify, evaluate, implement, and integrate new automation technologies and manufacturing equipment; create testing/validation protocols and commissioning plans.
  • •Oversee contractors and suppliers during installation and commissioning, and run post-implementation benefit reviews and continuous improvement activities including time studies and standard work.

Key Requirements

  • •Educated to HNC/HND level (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline (Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering).
  • •In-depth experience in a manufacturing/industrial engineering role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • •Proven experience delivering Continuous Improvement/lean projects and managing Capex projects.
  • •Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and process optimisation.
  • •Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent Continuous Improvement qualification; plus a formal Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent).
