Job Summary

Research and reconcile cash and payment adjustments for mortgage, consumer, auto, and lease products. Post payments and payoffs, balance GLs/DDA accounts, resolve cash exceptions from multiple payment channels, and handle debit/credit ticket posting. Investigate missing or misapplied payments in line with Reg E, Reg Z, and CFPB guidelines, escalate complex issues, and provide customer and partner support while safeguarding sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete escalated cash research and adjustments and post payments and payoffs for mortgage, consumer, lease, and flexcard products.
•Process daily cash exceptions and reconcile GLs/DDA accounts, including clearing outages for product lines.
•Resolve missing or misapplied payments and complex adjustment requests across real estate and auto/vehicle loan types.
•Investigate and return unauthorized monetary items to help prevent fraud and financial impact.
•Handle inquiries and complaints, communicate research results to customers/correspondent banks, and recommend improvements to minimize future problems.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•2+ years of prior customer service experience.
•1-2 years of financial services or consumer banking experience.
•Knowledge of mortgage, consumer, auto, and lease concepts and ability to apply them in a quality control function.
•Intermediate computer proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, plus strong verbal and written communication skills.
