Manufacturing Engineer II to join the Site Manufacturing Engineering Team in Rome, NY. •Support a manufacturing cell, improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost through applying scientific principles in cross-functional teams.
•Process Design - Plan and design manufacturing processes utilizing materials, specifications, tolerances, equipment, fixtures, tooling, and work instructions.
•Strategic Planning - Collaborate with operations and design to support existing product lines and enable future business needs.
•Problem Solving - Independently investigate and resolve manufacturing issues using root cause analysis across multiple areas.
•Data Analytics - Monitor processes via data collection for statistical analysis and convey technical results to influence others.

Key Requirements

•A STEM degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
•U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
•Experience in a high-complexity, tight-tolerance aerospace production environment.
•Experience with conveying work instructions to teams, especially using a Manufacturing Execution System such as Solumina.
•Experience implementing process improvements that engage front-line teams and communicating technical information to build consensus.
