Job Summary

Join GEICO’s PaaS Serverless team to design, build, and evolve the Application Container Services (ACS) platform. You’ll architect scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-native solutions, lead technical design sessions and code reviews, and drive platform modernization across infrastructure lifecycle and migration tooling. Partner with engineering and product teams on production readiness, observability, and security compliance while mentoring junior engineers and adopting AI-assisted development practices.

•Architect scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-native solutions using modern technologies and best practices.

•Drive platform modernization initiatives, including infrastructure lifecycle management and migration tooling.
•Champion observability, security compliance, and production reliability, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating on production readiness and go-live milestones.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 110,000 - 230,000 annually

Key Requirements

•8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead engineering role.
•4+ years of experience with open-source technologies such as Kubernetes.
•Proven experience designing and operating large-scale PaaS or cloud-native platforms in production.
•Deep hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and the cloud-native ecosystem (Knative, KEDA, ArgoCD, Istio, service mesh).
•Experience with Azure (Azure Functions, Azure App Services, AKS, or serverless compute) and proficiency in Go, Python, Java, C#.NET, or PowerShell.
