•Design, develop, debug, and test platform software for complex Android systems combining video/audio compression codecs.
•Work in Linux kernel, drivers, and Android HAL, including binder and robust communications protocols using HIDL/AIDL.
•Collaborate with various functions and development teams in and outside the company.
•Participate in architecture discussions for camera endpoint software development.
•Use software editor/compiler, source control tools, and hardware debugging tools.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 6+ years of C/C++ development experience.
•6+ years working with low-level Android code or Linux for cameras.
•Experience with Linux driver development and working in a Linux development environment.
•Knowledge of the Android framework/SDK on recent releases (preferably Android M or higher).
•Strong communication skills.
