Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead high-level, low-level, and deployment-level design work for SOC solutions delivered to customers.
  • •Specify infrastructure requirements for security tools and support design/configuration of security tools and platforms across cloud and on-premises environments.
  • •Design and configure network security devices, routers and switches, including VLANs, DNS, and identity management capability.
  • •Develop test procedures to verify solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements, including requirement/user story traceability to solution components.
  • •Oversee deployment/implementation activities, ensuring entry criteria and planned activities are met, with rollback plans initiated where required; review and approve release/change documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Knowledge and experience designing, building, deploying, and operating SOC technology, including at least two of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence.
  • •Experience deploying and configuring applications on cloud and/or on-premises for high data ingest rates.
  • •Proven delivery experience leading onboarding activities onto a SIEM.
  • •Knowledge of on-prem architectures and design, including security controls, detection tools, networking, and secure network architectures (OSI/TCP-IP, addressing, subnetting, and routing).
  • •Understanding of security best practices (least privilege, encryption), risk assessment, vulnerability management, and security fundamentals.
