Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete comprehensive patient intake for adolescents entering the program, including history, risk factors, and eligibility review.
  • •Order appropriate labs, review results, and escalate findings that fall outside program guardrails.
  • •Meet with patients and families to design individualized care plans grounded in goals and clinical picture.
  • •Prescribe and manage GLP-1 therapy when clinically appropriate, within a holistic plan including nutrition and behavioral support.
  • •Coordinate with the multidisciplinary care team and manage ongoing care over time (monitoring visits, dose management, side-effect and safety management, and adherence support).

Key Requirements

  • •MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license in good standing.
  • •Comfort and credibility caring for adolescents and their families.
  • •Interest in adolescent and obesity medicine, with willingness to complete light onboarding for weight/obesity management and GLP-1 therapy.
  • •Availability of 20–80 hours per month, starting lower and scaling as the program grows.
  • •Strong written communication and comfort working in an asynchronous, distributed telehealth team.
