Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide oversight to the internal corrosion program, ensuring consistent application of procedures in Natural Gas Pipelines.
  • •Deliver corrosion control technical expertise to field corrosion supervisors and technicians, including site reviews, gas quality support, and interpretation of corrosion monitoring results.
  • •Provide technical support to operations, measurement and gas quality, and engineering design/project engineering teams.
  • •Support development and maintenance of corrosion control standards and training for internal corrosion policies and procedures, including O&M manuals and operator qualification materials.
  • •Review remedial action mitigation plans from in-line and internal corrosion inspections and assist with failure analysis and remediation planning.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in an Engineering or related Science discipline.
  • •Corrosion control knowledge and experience.
  • •Working knowledge of internal corrosion monitoring and mitigation of natural gas pipelines.
  • •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including clear technical writing for reports, specifications, and work instructions.
  • •High analytical skills, including familiarity with root cause analysis for problem resolution.
