Job Summary

Identify and separate scrap from production, then grind reusable bottles for use in the manufacturing process. Perform visual and aesthetic inspections, weigh and report daily regrind totals, stage regrind as directed by Production, and maintain daily/weekly housekeeping. Support food safety by maintaining the Food Safety Program (GMP) and communicate deviations or safety concerns to management while operating grinding and related equipment safely.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify and separate scrap from production output in SBM and RHB, including visual and aesthetic inspection of scrapped product.
•Separate rejected material into scrap and regrindable material.
•Grind reusable material for the manufacturing process, weigh it, and report daily regrind weight.
•Stage regrind as directed by the Production Manager and perform daily and weekly housekeeping duties for the assigned area.
•Maintain the Food Safety Program (GMP) and communicate deviations or safety concerns to management; shut down grinding equipment for safety or quality issues.

Key Requirements

•Ability to perform essential warehouse and grinding duties with strong manual dexterity and close-vision detail.
•Forklift operation capability and eligibility to become forklift-certified within the first 23 hours of work (OSHA standards).
•Mechanical aptitude to use hand tools.
•Ability to lift 30 pounds over head and stand/walk for 12 hours per day.
•Ability to arrange materials/actions in a required order or pattern and follow work instructions accurately.
