Job Summary

Own the end-to-end merchant onboarding lifecycle, from Sales handover through go-live readiness, configuration, training, and successful transacting on the payments platform. Partner with underwriting and post-go-live stabilization teams while serving as PAR’s internal payments/process expert across gateway configuration and PSP/merchant acquisition. Lead two onboarding specialists and apply an AI-forward approach to streamline workflows, documentation, and SLA-driven improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•Own end-to-end merchant onboarding execution from commercial handover to go-live, ensuring merchants are accurately configured and ready to transact on time.
•Coordinate across Sales, Underwriting, Compliance, and Product to keep onboarding timelines on track and resolve escalations quickly.
•Manage account configuration including processing parameters, settlement structures, gateway provisioning, and reporting setup.
•Serve as the internal center of expertise on payment gateway operations, merchant acquiring, and onboarding compliance requirements (KYC/KYB, card network rules, tokenization, regulatory standards).
•Lead and develop a team of two onboarding specialists, applying AI tools to streamline communications, automate status tracking, and improve SLA metrics.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 90,000 - 107,000 annually

Key Requirements

•4–8 years of experience in payments, payment operations, merchant onboarding, fintech operations, or a related field.
•Deep working knowledge of payment gateways, merchant acquiring, and processor configurations.
•Hands-on experience with KYC/KYB processes and payment compliance requirements.
•Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional onboarding projects with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.
•Experience in restaurant, hospitality, POS, or integrated payments environments strongly preferred.
