Key Responsibilities

  • •Take responsibility for client-facing cost management projects from feasibility through procurement, tendering, and post-contract delivery.
  • •Perform pre- and post-contract duties including cost estimates, contract administration, variations, and final accounts.
  • •Complete feasibility studies and produce/present the final cost plan.
  • •Manage tendering and procurement activities, including pre-qualification, tender lists, tender analysis, tender reports, and contract documents.
  • •Provide timely financial reporting/valuations, participate in cost variance and change control, and contribute to cost risk analysis, value engineering, and final account negotiation/approval.

Key Requirements

  • •Deliver high-quality cost management/quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle.
  • •Ideally hold a professional qualification such as RICS.
  • •Have a degree or HNC level qualification.
  • •Demonstrate good knowledge of construction methods and procurement routes.
  • •Ability to manage and prioritize more than one project at a time.
