Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee and monitor cross-functional teams to execute technical project work, including budgets, tracking hours/expenses, deliverables, and compliance documentation.
  • •Lead project performance across the full lifecycle—proposal, startup/planning, execution, reporting, and closeout—ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and profitability.
  • •Develop proposal and project scopes, timelines, pricing, and budgetary metrics while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
  • •Lead complex civil engineering projects by directing contributors, preparing and overseeing project budgets, and supervising subcontractors, contract work, and employees.
  • •Establish and drive technical reviews and QA/QC plan adherence; supervise and mentor staff; support contract negotiations, presentations, and meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related major, or equivalent experience in a technical or engineering firm.
  • •WA Professional Engineering license required.
  • •10+ years of post-education experience in roadway/highway/site development/transit design within the transportation industry.
  • •Minimum 5+ years of project management experience on transportation infrastructure projects.
  • •Familiarity with Sound Transit, WSDOT, and City of Seattle engineering practices.
