Key Responsibilities

  • •Review incoming security events and perform initial triage using FortiEDR.
  • •Identify and analyze highly suspicious events, including activities indicating malware infections.
  • •Conduct host-based analysis and forensic work on Windows, Linux, and macOS systems.
  • •Investigate escalated events and support other team members as needed.
  • •Assist in enhancing and tuning Fortinet Cloud Services and automated incident response, and analyze multiple log sources to detect malicious activity.

Key Requirements

  • •At least one scripting language experience (e.g., Shell, Ruby, Perl, Python).
  • •Strong operating system internals knowledge with endpoint security experience and Active Directory.
  • •Experience with incident response and/or forensics, including memory forensics.
  • •Hands-on experience with malware analysis tools (e.g., IDA Pro, OllyDbg, Immunity Debugger).
  • •5 to 8+ years of relevant experience, plus a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
