Manage mechanical maintenance for the plant by leading corrective and preventive maintenance, ensuring equipment reliability and on-time production. Drive continuous improvement using TPM, SMED, 5S, lean/kaizen practices, and MTBF analysis. Execute technical engineering activities including repairs, installations, machining, and equipment upgrades, while maintaining maintenance logs, spares inventory, and compliance with GMP/GHP and SHE requirements. Coach and support the maintenance team’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead corrective and preventive mechanical maintenance to ensure equipment reliability, performance, capacity, and related KPIs.
•Execute day-to-day mechanical technical repairs, including diagnosing failures, inspecting equipment, and repairing or replacing components using hand/power tools.
•Support continuous improvement of plant manufacturing performance using TPM principles, SMED, 5S, lean/kaizen activities, and MTBF analysis.
•Undertake technical and engineering activities such as assembling, installing, testing, machining/fabricating parts, and managing engineering projects through handover to production.
•Maintain maintenance logs/job cards, manage spares inventory and ordering, ensure compliance with GMP/GHP, SHE requirements, and LOTO procedure.

Key Requirements

•Qualified Fitter & Turner with at least 10 years’ experience in a factory maintenance environment.
•Proven ability to diagnose faults and deliver high-quality corrective maintenance work.
•Strong experience executing preventive maintenance, including TPM-based maintenance practices and planned maintenance scheduling.
•Experience leading or supporting continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., SMED, 5S, TPM, lean/kaizen).
•Valid driver’s license essential; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
