Job Summary

Design, build, and operate secure, scalable hybrid cloud network infrastructure on AWS. You’ll partner across platform, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver highly available connectivity, using automation and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and GitOps-style workflows. Own network architecture (VPC, connectivity, DNS, firewall controls), implement observability with DataDog/Prometheus/CloudWatch, support incident response, and maintain runbooks and operational documentation.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement secure, scalable AWS network architectures (VPCs, subnets, routing, multi-tenant isolation).
•Architect hybrid connectivity solutions using Direct Connect, VPNs, and Transit Gateways.
•Design, implement, and operate firewall strategies using Network ACLs, Security Groups, AWS Network Firewall, and WAF rules.
•Develop and maintain Terraform modules with security guardrails (encryption, least-privilege IAM, NACLs, Security Groups) and implement GitOps workflows for env promotion.
•Design monitoring/alerting and troubleshoot network/platform issues, including incident response and on-call support; maintain runbooks and operational documentation.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
•6-8 years in platform engineering, SRE, or cloud engineering with strong AWS networking focus.
•AWS Advanced Networking – Specialty Certification (or equivalent hands-on experience with VPCs, subnets, Transit Gateways, Route 53, Direct Connect, and VPNs).
•Strong system design and troubleshooting skills.
•Hands-on firewall operations experience (AWS Network Firewall, NACLs, Security Groups, WAF in production).
