Job Summary

Safely control production and load-out operations in a batch plant, ensuring accurate concrete batching and on-time delivery. Manage dispatch loading activities, vehicle/ticket processing, and plant inventory reporting while maintaining compliance with OSHA, MSHA, DEP, and environmental/air-quality regulations. Lead safe operations through safety meetings and adherence to company policies, perform/coordinate equipment maintenance, and manage shift performance and employee development.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely control production and load-out of materials, including scheduling and ensuring timely delivery for dispatch loading operations.
•Enforce safety rules and conduct safety meetings/toolbox talks to maintain safe plant operations.
•Accurately batch concrete loads per specifications by reading dispatch orders and using mix designs correctly.
•Operate batching/dispatching and quality control software; manage plant inventory with daily/weekly/monthly reporting.
•Handle daily clerical tasks (customer tickets, inbound materials, packing slips, bank deposits), support dispatch driver scheduling, and address regulatory/safety/personnel/production problems.

Key Requirements

•High school degree required.
•1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
•Proficient with Windows, Excel, and Word; able to write routine reports and correspondence.
•Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and ACI Level One certification are preferred.
