Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide manufacturing support in Satellite Shipping, including allocating materials and planning, scheduling, verifying, receiving, and shipping to meet order fulfillment goals.
  • •Use computer systems to perform cycle counts, analyze results for root cause and corrective actions, and resolve errors via transaction research and auditing.
  • •Operate forklifts and cranes to transport and locate equipment and materials to required areas.
  • •Receive, document, store/stage, and issue job-related materials; support assembly and fabrication needs as required.
  • •Package, band, and label items for shipment/staging; follow safety/industrial hygiene requirements, maintain 5S standards, perform Lean initiatives, and complete routine preventative maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •HS diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • •Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
  • •Must reside within 50 miles of Sumter, SC; no relocation benefits provided.
  • •Experience in forklift and/or crane operation to transport and locate equipment and materials.
  • •Computer literate (including Excel, Word, DMM, AS400, Mapics, Vista, and Outlook).
