Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, deploy, and maintain scalable backend features for observability ingestion, including mOTLP endpoints and managed integrations.
  • •Take ownership of projects and features from concept through delivery.
  • •Provide engineering-level support for escalated customer cases on a rotation basis.
  • •Support code quality through pull request reviews, mentorship, and best-practice sharing.
  • •Monitor alerts, build SLIs/SLOs, ensure system stability, and participate in on-call rotation for services owned.

Key Requirements

  • •Intermediate to expert Go skills with strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting ability.
  • •Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform), and Kafka.
  • •At least intermediate experience with observability (tracing, metrics, logs, profiling).
  • •Strong understanding of microservice architecture and distributed systems, including tradeoffs for system design.
  • •Ability to perform root cause analysis, work independently in a distributed team, and collaborate effectively using asynchronous communication.
