Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, selling, delivering, and providing ongoing service for retail banking products and services.
  • •Understand clients’ financial needs through profiling and personal financial planning analysis, and support investment account objectives with assigned financial advisors.
  • •Stay current on economic, legal, and investment trends, serving as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients and their CPAs.
  • •Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals by developing new clients, expanding services, marketing products, and maintaining sales activity and pipeline in the contact management system.
  • •Coordinate with Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) partners and external centers of influence to provide seamless service and drive business development while ensuring compliance with audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with concentration in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience.
  • •Minimum of five years of financial services client experience working with banking, investments, and/or retail lending (or one year as a financial client relationship manager).
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory and investment management/asset allocation concepts for mass affluent clients.
  • •Maintain active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65 in lieu of 66), plus applicable insurance licenses (Life, Health, and Variable), with required timelines for obtaining/transfer.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship management skills, including strong written/verbal/presentation abilities and basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office).
