Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and implement network projects, including planning, time/resource utilization, and implementation of changes in and out of core hours.
  • •Develop detailed requirements and participate in upgrading existing production, corporate, and non-production network devices.
  • •Troubleshoot network communications and provide in-depth technical assistance for operational problems.
  • •Support project risk identification, escalation of concerns, and prevention of design/requirement gaps through engagement with change and operations management.
  • •Perform baseline checks on new hardware to meet company standards and security posture, and support peers with knowledge sharing and reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •3-5 years of overall IT experience in networking (LAN/WAN), firewalls, security and encryption technologies, and load balancing.
  • •Experience with TCP/IP protocol communications.
  • •Broad knowledge of Cisco’s product portfolio.
  • •Knowledge of network diagnostics and technologies including BGP, SNMP, VPN, SSH, and MPLS.
  • •Hold a current CCNP certification or equivalent experience; experience working in a heavily regulated environment with DSS/PCI compliance.
