Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee the development of heritage sector policies, internal procedures, and related regulatory work, including defining KPIs and reporting.
  • •Oversee preparation and implementation of strategic sector plans to support and activate heritage, including goals, initiatives, programs, and performance metrics.
  • •Oversee periodic mapping/assessment of the heritage ecosystem to identify gaps, requirements, and challenges and manage engagement with stakeholders and targeted audiences.
  • •Oversee execution of the department’s annual operational plan, performance evaluation, and improvement plans, including budgeting needs coordination.
  • •Develop partnerships and oversee strategic programming with stakeholders, including funding/grants frameworks and promotion of heritage via events, conferences, and collaboration with investment and partnerships to maximize value for heritage sites.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Arts or an equivalent qualification from an accredited university.
  • •10 years of relevant practical experience.
