Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely operate drilling rigs in line with site procedures, manufacturer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • •Perform thorough pre-start inspections and keep rigs, compressors, pumps, rods, bits, hammers, and support equipment running efficiently.
  • •Accurately collar holes and maintain angles, depths, and alignment per the drill plan.
  • •Monitor and adjust drilling parameters (e.g., pressure, rotation speed, weight on bit, penetration rate) to optimize productivity and sample quality.
  • •Maintain drill logs and production reports, ensure correct sample recovery/handling/storage, and lead/mentor offsiders/drill helpers while following HSE requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience as a Driller in mining or mineral exploration (RC, diamond core, rotary, or similar).
  • •Strong mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of drilling techniques and equipment.
  • •Commitment to safety and working extended shifts or rotations at remote sites.
  • •Physically fit to work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
  • •Nice to have: experience across multiple drilling methods or relevant certifications (e.g., MSHA, first aid/CPR, forklift/heavy equipment), plus a valid driver’s license (CDL a plus).
