Key Responsibilities

  • •Regularly review and update personal tool inventory and complete daily work assignments requested by the customer or supervisor.
  • •Troubleshoot, identify problems, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems either by phone or on site.
  • •Process warranty claim reports, including warranty support such as evaluating and validating claims and submitting service reports.
  • •Adhere to company safety and environmental requirements, practice proper PPE use, and maintain a courteous, professional demeanor with customers and internal teams.
  • •Level 2–3 duties as applicable: communicate daily service updates via reports/forms, support fast-paced simultaneous deadlines, develop customized solutions, rebuild components to OEM specifications, and serve as a subject matter expert for technician training.

Key Requirements

  • •Basic computer skills and familiarity with Epiroc equipment, with previous experience demonstrating strong mechanical aptitude.
  • •Ability to read basic hydraulic and 24-volt schematics and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
  • •Possess own hand tools and maintain an accurate personal tool inventory, expanding tools as needed using the required tool list.
  • •Complete required training (TL1/TL2 and Safe Start Modules 1–5) within the first year and maintain required Mine Safety & Health Administration certificates or complete them as required.
  • •Maintain a valid driver’s license; travel is required, and CDL requirements may apply if operating commercial vehicles.
