Job Summary

Senior Platform Engineer responsible for the design, automation, and operation of a Kubernetes-based edge platform supporting Galleon data centers and Atlas cloud integration. You’ll manage on-prem and cloud environments, implement IaC with Terraform/Ansible/Helm, enforce security practices, optimize performance for edge deployments, and collaborate with software, security, and product teams to ensure a reliable, scalable distributed system.

Key Responsibilities

•Architect, design, deploy, configure, and manage highly available Kubernetes clusters on-prem (Galleon data centers) and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) environments, including cluster layout, resource allocation, and storage configurations
•Administer, maintain, and monitor the health, performance, and capacity of Kubernetes clusters and underlying infrastructure
•Implement and manage Kubernetes networking solutions (CNI plugins, Ingress controllers) and storage solutions (PV/PVC, Storage Classes, CSI drivers)
•Design, deploy, configure, and manage Microsoft Azure Stack Local and HCI environments
•Maintain and monitor containerized platform services with robust monitoring, logging, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

•7+ years of experience in DevSecOps/SRE and platform engineering with focus on production environments
•5+ years designing, deploying, and administering production Kubernetes clusters (on-premises or bare-metal)
•3+ years of hands-on Linux administration and troubleshooting
•Strong Kubernetes security knowledge (RBAC, Network Policies, Secrets) with IaC experience (Terraform/Ansible)
