Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and direct work activities for a pipeline construction/maintenance crew supporting repairs, maintenance, and new construction.
  • •Supervise a team of welders and pipeline support specialists (coaching, performance reviews, and employment/termination decisions).
  • •Ensure crew compliance with welding procedures and pipeline construction regulations, including OSHA/FMCSA/DOT requirements.
  • •Manage administrative tasks including written work plans, cost tracking, and forecasting, plus monthly project forecasts and variance reporting.
  • •Operate and maintain heavy equipment and perform tasks such as hot tapping, pipe change-outs, hot work permitting, and lock out/tagout; lead safety programs and identify hazards; travel up to 80%.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalency).
  • •5+ years of supervisory experience on pipeline maintenance or construction projects (preferred).
  • •Experience managing a work group and providing coaching/training and participation in performance/employment decisions.
  • •Basic computer skills (MS Office including Excel) and ability to create and maintain detailed records.
  • •Knowledge of CDL/federal regulations and welding process/procedures, plus ability to follow safety requirements and be available for call-out 24/7.
