Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide mechanical engineering input for subsea tenders, studies, and early engagement activities.
  • •Interpret client specifications and translate them into compliant, cost-effective technical solutions.
  • •Develop and review mechanical designs, layouts, and technical documentation for subsea systems and components.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product management, manufacturing, sourcing, commercial, and project engineering) to deliver solutions.
  • •Ensure solutions meet applicable industry standards (API/ISO) and support risk assessments, design reviews, and lessons learned; mentor junior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • •Proven experience in mechanical design or application engineering within the subsea oil & gas sector.
  • •Strong understanding of Subsea Production Systems, including detailed knowledge of Subsea Christmas Trees, Tubing Hangers, and associated tooling.
  • •Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, MathCAD, and Teamcenter.
  • •Experience with requirement management/interface management and tools such as DOORs and SmartPDF, plus excellent communication and stakeholder management.
