Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead preparation and coordination of technical electrical design documentation to ensure quality and cost-effective delivery.
  • •Contribute to planning, design, and delivery of major multidisciplinary projects while mentoring and supporting junior engineers.
  • •Provide specialised technical advice using Australian Standards, NCC requirements, and industry best practice to review calculations, specifications, and drawings.
  • •Lead electrical components across sectors including healthcare, aviation, defence, education, commercial, data centres, and transport precincts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with ideally 5+ years delivering building services projects in a consulting or contractor environment.
  • •Experience designing electrical building services including lighting, general/specialist power, earthing/lightning protection, power distribution and reticulation systems.
  • •Sound understanding of Australian Standards, NCC requirements, and authority approval processes, with experience reviewing technical calculations, specifications and design documentation.
  • •Experience delivering projects across buildings sectors, with exposure to aviation, healthcare, defence, data centres or transport infrastructure highly regarded.
  • •Proficiency using ETAP, PowerCAD, Revit, AGi32, and Microsoft Office Suite; relevant registration/qualifications such as RPEQ, RPEV or CPEng (or working towards) highly regarded.
