Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide cost control leadership for work packages and projects of varying size and complexity within energy programmes.
  • •Create and maintain robust cost controls and reports, managing relationships between time, cost, risk, change, reporting, and scope.
  • •Develop cost breakdown structures and align time phasing between budgets and work breakdown structures to track and control actual costs.
  • •Establish and support an integrated performance measurement baseline (PMB) and change control process, including support for cost notes and forecasting.
  • •Produce accruals (ACWP) and update forecasts (ETC), including cost capture requirements and validation of supply chain data to support accurate reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Professional project controls experience specializing in cost engineering/cost control across the project lifecycle.
  • •Detailed understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), progress reporting, forecasting, and performance reporting/analysis.
  • •Ability to obtain BPSS level security clearance.
  • •Familiarity with cost performance reporting and cost forecasting techniques and leading cost control assurance activities.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong stakeholder management and leadership behaviors.
