Job Summary

Deliver reliable, sustainable operations for hyperscale co-location datacenter infrastructure. Lead planning and construction for facility projects, oversee testing/acceptance/takeover, and manage day-to-day uptime through change management and fault tracking. Partner with vendors and stakeholders, run audits and performance reviews of provider maintenance programs, and support DC Operations as an SME for design limitations and risks, including supervising data hall fit-outs.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan and support construction of co-location datacenter infrastructure projects, including tracking progress, facilitating communication, anticipating operational risks, and owning testing/acceptance/takeover.
•Operate co-location datacenter infrastructure to ensure stability, identify optimization opportunities, and improve data center management.
•Own end-to-end change management for high-risk datacenter maintenance to maintain uninterrupted facility operations.
•Moderate data center operations, handle event reporting, and manage fault tracking and handling to enhance service capabilities.
•Supervise data hall fit-outs, coordinating IT services, power system deployment, and cooling infrastructure implementation; support audits and provider maintenance performance reviews as needed.

Key Requirements

•Diploma or professional certification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (or related facility engineering), plus 5+ years of datacenter facility operations experience.
•Experience implementing power redundancy designs (2N, N+1) in production environments.
•In-depth understanding of cooling redundancy strategies and concurrent maintainability requirements (N+1, N+2).
•Hands-on maintenance experience with critical datacenter MEP systems (generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, UPS, electrical sub-distribution).
•Strong attention to detail and communication for facility documentation and stakeholder coordination.
