Job Summary

Operate and support gravure press production across Press Room, Roll Stand, Folder/Gluer, and material handling. Receive and prepare product for printing, set up and maintain proper loading, label printing, and quality checks, and perform sampling and issue reporting. Execute downtime, make-ready, and roll stand tasks, including doctor blades setup, ink/varnish handling, forklift-based material movement, and safe compliance with OHSE, cGMP, HACCP, and Chain of Custody requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform and support gravure press operation in required areas including press room, roll stand tasks, folder/gluer, and/or material handling.
•Receive and stack/place product and pallet labels with Pecas; review job docket information and set up sheets for accurate production.
•Ensure correct loading of product onto pallets for material handling and verify completed jobs for quality and accuracy.
•Handle make-ready and downtime activities such as doctor blade setup/breakdown, purging stacks, assisting with impression roller changes, and ink/solvent/varnish cylinder tasks as needed.
•Act as part of the press crew by assisting operators when the press is down, performing forklift driver responsibilities for safe material movement, and maintaining safe, organized work areas in compliance with OHSE and food-safety requirements.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or GED) and 1–3 years of related production experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Very good mechanical and physical ability to perform gravure press production tasks.
•Lift truck operators must have and maintain safety training to operate company equipment.
•Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and perform physical tasks including prolonged standing, stooping, bending, and reaching.
•Compliance with OHSE obligations and safe handling/disposal procedures for hazardous materials/waste.
